Mayors of four Central Indiana cities declared their support for a Mounds Greenway, as proposed by the Hoosier Environmental Council and supported by Friends of the White River.

Mayors Dennis Tyler of Muncie, Andy Cook of Westfield, James Brainard of Carmel and John Ditslear of Noblesville formally endorsed the proposed trail system along the White River. HEC estimates the greenway’s annual economic benefit to communities near the river will be about $13 million.
